Every day in some small way
We miss you more than words can say.
In our hearts you will always stay
Loved and remembered every day.

A face is from our household gone,
A voice we loved is stilled,
A chair is vacant in our home
Which never can be filled.

A beautiful memory dearer than gold.
Of a mother/father/brother/sister, etc.,
Whose worth can never be told,
There's a place in my heart no one can fill,
I miss you, mum/dad/lad, etc., and
always will.

In the quiet of the evening
I sit and think of you,
I open up my memory book,
Of the things we used to do,
And as I turn the pages,
My eyes are filled with tears,
For, although I have my memories,
I can't hold back the years.

May the Lord watch between me
and thee, when we are absent
from one another. (Mizpah).
Partings come to let us know,
We love more deeply than we show,
But love in death should let us see,
What love in life should really be.

You always waited for me,
Anxious, if I were late,
In winter at the window,
In summer by the gate,
Your thoughts were always for me,
Not once did you forget,
And so I know from Heaven above,
You'll be waiting for me yet.

Although we laugh and seem carefree,
And make no outward show,
What it meant to lose you
No one will ever know.

There's a face we shall always remember
A voice we shall always recall,
A memory to cherish forever,
Of one so dear to us all.

To hear your voice, to see you smile,
To sit and talk to you a while,
To be together in the same old way,
Would be my dearest wish today.

To us he/she was someone special,
Someone set apart,
His/Her memory will live forever,
Engraved within our hearts.

Nothing could be more beautiful,
Than the memories we have of you,
To us they're very precious
Because they are of you.

I am the resurrection and the life,
He that believeth in Me, though he were
dead, Yet shall he live. John XI. 25.

Looking back with tenderness
Along the path we trod,
I bless the years I spent with you,
And leave the rest to God.

God saw you getting weary,
A cure was not to be,
He put His arms around you,
And whispered: Come to Me.

What he/she suffered he/she told so few,
He/She did not deserve what he/she went through,
Tired and weary he/she made no fuss,
But tried so hard to stay with us.

What he/she suffered he/she told but few,
He/She never deserved what he/she went through.
He/She left us suddenly,
his/her thoughts unknown,
But he/she left us with a memory
we are proud to own.

God saw you getting weary
The hill too steep to climb,
He put His arms around you
And whispered: Peace be thine.

God has taken you away from us,
And taken you to rest,
It's not for us to understand,
He only takes the best.

The family chain is broken now
And nothing seems the same,
But as God takes us one by one,
That chain will link again.

From our happy home and circle
God has taken one we loved;
Borne away from pain and sorrow
To a nobler rest above.

In days gone by I'd take your hand
And wish you all the best,
But all I can do now, is ask God
To grant you eternal rest.

To think we did not say goodbye
Will always bring regret,
But hearts that always loved
Never will forget.

I lived in hope. I prayed in vain
That God would make you well again.
But God decided we must part,
I watched you die with a broken heart.

It was a sudden parting
Too bitter to forget
Those who really loved you
Are the ones that won't forget.

A golden heart stopped beating
Two smiling eyes at rest
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best.

Your painful days are over
Your restless nights have passed
God took you in His arms
And whispered: Peace at last.

Not one to trouble or make a fuss
You asked for nothing from any of us
God called you to Him and we had to part
Leaving us lonely and with a broken heart.

Take him/her in Your arms, Lord
Cherish him/her with care
Make up for all he/she suffered
And all that seemed unfair.

Jesus take care of our (name)
And love her/him as we do
Because she/he was everything
Loving, kind and true.

By the old rugged cross,
You sit with a smile,
Waiting for those,
you have left for a while
And those you have left,
With their grief and their loss,
Will meet you one day,
By that old rugged cross.

Take him/her in Your arms Lord,
Guide him/her through the storm,
Sit with him/her in sunshine,
and let the wind be warm,
Play his/her favourite music,
And when you see him/her smile,
Tell him/her that we love him/her,
and he's/she's thought of all the while.

Sadly, I miss him/her and try not to grieve,
And when God insists, I too must leave,
To join him/her I loved, on that
wonderful shore,
With heartaches forgotten, and partings no more.

From pain to peace,
From home to heaven,
God Bless.

Sweet is your memory,
Precious your name,
Deep in our hearts,
You will always remain.

I cannot bring the old days back
When we were all together,
But memories keep you close to me,
And memories last forever.

Our hearts are filled with memories
Which we gather through the years
All the happy times we shared,
Are treasured souvenirs.

Now I lay me down to sleep
I pray the Lord my soul to keep
If I die before I wake,
I pray the Lord my soul to take.

The golden years we spent together
are not forgotten; they are ours forever.

Safe in the arms of Jesus
And free from pain,
Rest in peace (name)
Till we meet again.
A light is from our household gone,
A voice we loved is stilled,
A place is vacant in our home,
Which never can be filled.
We have to mourn the loss of one,
We did our best to save
Beloved on earth, regretted still,
Remembered in the grave.
'Twas hard to part with one so dear
We little thought the time was near,
Farewell, dear one, your life is past
Our love for you till the end will last.

You always had a smile to share
Time to give and time to care.
A loving nature, kind and true,
Is the way we'll remember you.

Free from pain,
Now you're up above,
Feelings of sadness
And feelings of love.

God that spared not his own Son,
But delivered Him up for us all.
For I am persuaded that naught shall separate
us
From the love of God,
Which is in Jesus Christ, our Lord.

Although we're not together,
We will never be apart,
Because you have that special place,
Right here within my heart
Always and forever.

I didn't see you often,
And that I'll always regret
But the warmth of love in your smile,
I never will forget.

Our hearts are filled with memories
Which we gather through the years
All the happy times we shared
Are treasured souvenirs.

Our dear Lord in heaven above,
Surround our dear (name) with all your love,
Keep her/him safe and keep her/him warm
In your arms forever more.

It's a wonderful journey (name)
From the old world to the new
Someday I'll take that journey
Just to be with you
And when I get to heaven
Where all are free from pain
I'll put my arms around you (name)
And we'll never part again.

You are beside us in all we do
Your love and guidance will see us through
As each day dawns we whisper low
God bless you (name)
We love and miss you so.

You never complained,
You never gave in,
You fought a battle,
You could not win,
You were so brave.

They will not let me walk alone,
Into the valley of the unknown,
So I reach out and clasp the hands,
Of loved ones in the Promised Land.

My heart is filled with love each day,
I loved you in a special way,
Trusting that God will understand,
I place my heartache in His hands.

Beautiful memories treasured forever,
Of happy years spent together,
Life is eternal, love will remain,
In God's own time, we will meet again.

Did the sun shine a little brighter,
Was the sky a deeper blue,
Or was it just a better world, (name)
When we shared our lives with you.

Your photo stands in pride of place,
A lovely smile lights up your face,
You always seem to be so near,
How I wish (name)
You were still here.

Life's work well done,
Life's race well run,
Now comes rest.

A special smile, a special face
In our hearts, a special place,
Memories are a gift to treasure,
Ours of you (name) will last forever.

May God grant us
Hope for each morning,
Strength for each day
And peace for each night.

A thousand loving memories,
Stored up in our hearts,
To take out and live again
Whenever the tears start.

How hard it is to part with those
We hold on earth so dear,
The heart no greater trial knows,
No sorrow more severe.

Sad are the hearts that loved you,
Sad are the tears that fall,
But living our lives without you,
Is the saddest part of all.

I'll treasure forever the friendship we shared,
The things you did, the way you cared,
Someone to turn to, so kind and true,
One in a million, (name) I'll never forget you.

Love says little,
But means so much,
Love is a feeling. a look, a touch,
Love is a gift, and I give it to you
From a son/daughter whose heart
is broken in two.

Time is not measured by the years that you
live, But by the deeds that you do,
and the joy that you give
And each day as it comes,
brings a chance to each one,
To love to the fullest, leaving nothing undone.

With special thoughts of sympathy
And a sincere heartfelt prayer
That God may bless you with His peace
And keep you in His care.

Each dawning day, a thought of you
At eventide, a prayer,
And in the hearts that loved you so,
You always will be there. Ours to remember.

Memories are like keepsakes,
We treasure all life through
But mine are very special
Because they are of you.

It seems that certain friends we meet
are thought of for a while,
While others are remembered for
a special deed or smile
But those who stay within our hearts
are very very few,
But (name) that's the kind of friend
we all found in you.

Your voyage has been rough,
But you've reached your golden shore
Where your boat is now at anchor
And peace is yours once more.

No matter where I go (name)
No matter what I do,
I'll cherish the memories of yesterday
And the laughs I shared with you.

Love is a smile, a tear and a touch,
love says little, but means so much,
Love is forever, and we give it to you,
From the family who thought the world of
you.

You lived your life with little needs,
Full instead, of selfless deeds
For everyone you did your best
May God grant you Eternal rest.

We will always love and miss you, (name)
With every passing day
The longing just to see you,
Will never go away.

Farewells were left unspoken,
You gently slipped away
You left many happy memories,
That will never fade away.

Put your arms around him Lord,
Kiss his/her smiling face
He/she was a special friend
Who can never be replaced.

I didn't see you often,
But you knew I really cared
And I have some lovely memories,
Of happy times we shared.

The years we spent together
Those happy days we knew,
Are lived again so often.
In my memories of you.

On the wings of a prayer our burdens
take flight, And our load of care becomes
bearably light,
And our heavy hearts are lifted above,
to be healed by the balm of God's wonderful
love.
And the tears in our eyes are dried by the
hands of a loving Father who understands
All of our problems, our fears and despair,
When we take them to Him on the wings
of a prayer.

We never lose the ones we love,
For even though they've gone,
Within the hearts of those who care,
Their memory lingers on.
